Manual 36 Saint Xavier 10
Manual gets a big win and avoids Trinity in the second round. Crimsons 28-7.

Daviess County 21 Central Hardin 20
The battle for second and a home playoff game for this district is going to be very interesting. These two teams both play Meade in the next few weeks and we shall see who can grab that runner up spot.

Lexington Christian Academy 49 Shawnee 14
LCA running clock in the first quarter or early second quarter. JV gets a lot of reps and the varsity gets a lot of rest.

Daviess County 21 Central Hardin 20
It really doesn't matter what they run, they are going to struggle. I just find it ironic that they fired a coach that ran an offense that fit the type of kids they have there and are know going back to something similar in an effort to get something going. I actually believe more schools should be running these types of offenses rather than trying to run something they don't have the talent to run.

Daviess County 21 Central Hardin 20
Did my eyes deceive me or was Central Hardin in the wishbone last week? I thought that was the biggest part of their problem the last few years, an antiquated offense. The wing T and then the triple option. I was under the impression they were going to spread it out and sling it around. I guess after a season like this the staff is simply grasping at straws and hoping something sticks. Daviess 28 CH 0.

Scott County 71 Collins 60
Scott County pounds the ball on the ground and wins in a high scoring affair. Goodin is the truth, but Collins won't stop Scott County.

Will Central Hardin go scoreless this season?
They won't go scoreless. Nobody is that bad and they play some weaker teams on the back end of the schedule. They won't score enough to win a game, but they will score.

Bowling Green 27 Barren County 19
Barren does exactly what they need to do to beat a team like BG. Play clean, control the clock, take advantage of a BG mistake and win with a 2 point conversion. 22-21, Trojans!

North Hardin 48 Central Hardin 0
They made a run to the region finals in 24 with Stockdale and had a solid group of Seniors returning for 25 that should have won 6-8 games and made another run to the region finals. Then Stockdale was dismissed and the wheels fell off. It took a long time to hire Gregory, the team missed a considerable chunk of the off season, they were into the 3rd system and coaching staff in 3 years, and the talent level in the lower classes fell off drastically. That is a recipe for what you are getting now. The middle school hasn't been very good and the youth system is a ok rec league, but it isn't designed to build a competitive 6A program. Add in the parental issues and I don't see them getting better any time soon.

North Hardin 48 Central Hardin 0
Central Hardin needs to focus on Daviess County and Meade County. Those are district games against teams that are young and rebuilding as well. Those two and North Bullitt are the only games they have a remote chance of competing in.

Danville 41 Washington County 26
Danville rolls with a running clock.

Christian Academy Louisville 65 Central Hardin 0
CAL is not the team you want to see when you are struggling like the Bruins have been. Running clock and Central Hardin's scoreless streak continues.
-
Bourbon County 53 Montgomery County 0
Montgomery is going to struggle most of the season. Bourbon by 14.
