3 hours ago3 hr What are teams doing now when it comes to in season strength training? Are your teams lifting and if so, what kind of training are they doing?
2 hours ago2 hr Highlands does 3 days a week strength and speed training during the season. It varies what they do week to week but 2 days are dedicated to lifting/strength and the third day is speed and agility training. It is key to maintaining weight/strength and helps with limiting certain injuries.

1 minute ago1 min Need a minimum of 2 days of lifting during the season. Young guys/JV only guys should really be getting 3 days in. Most other states have in school strength and conditioning which makes it easier. Less volume during the season (less sets), looking to maintain strength, limit injuries, etc. Kentucky as a whole is way being the 8 ball when it comes to strength and conditioning. All schools should really have a full time (Certified) strength coach that runs all the S&C for all the sports.
