They made a run to the region finals in 24 with Stockdale and had a solid group of Seniors returning for 25 that should have won 6-8 games and made another run to the region finals. Then Stockdale was dismissed and the wheels fell off. It took a long time to hire Gregory, the team missed a considerable chunk of the off season, they were into the 3rd system and coaching staff in 3 years, and the talent level in the lower classes fell off drastically. That is a recipe for what you are getting now. The middle school hasn't been very good and the youth system is a ok rec league, but it isn't designed to build a competitive 6A program. Add in the parental issues and I don't see them getting better any time soon.

Central Hardin needs to focus on Daviess County and Meade County. Those are district games against teams that are young and rebuilding as well. Those two and North Bullitt are the only games they have a remote chance of competing in.
