February 14, 200719 yr I have this weird feeling the next coach will be Jamie Dixon or Jay Wright. UK fans can't stand "Tubby" ball, couldn't imagine Dixon and his style moving to Lexington.
February 14, 200719 yr Few would never leave Gonzaga for UK, Ford needs more experience, and Donovan will go to the NBA if anywhere IMO. Creen and Wright would be great, but neither is an improvement over OTS IMO. When it comes to coaching I agree with you that it wouldn't be much of in improvement, but when it comes to recruiting it most likely would be...
February 14, 200719 yr Why do you think they would not want either one? They see how there are so many people critical of how Tubby runs this program, so if Tubby were to retire or whatever I dont see them wanting to bring in his clone pretty much in Felton. There would be alot of pressure from the outside for UK to bring in someone with more of a fast flow IMO and that would not be Felton. Felton is a very good coach but I dont see us considering him at all, because we could get better than him. Then for Stan Heath I agree I think he will keep his job after this year at Arkansas, but just barely. So if he can barely live up to expectations at Arkansas, I dont see why would want to get him where the expectations at UK would be a million times greater...

February 14, 200719 yr Retired. No there is no link, he hasn't announced anything of the sort. I just heard this from a very reliable source and they say that this will be the end of Tubby's career once the season is over. Take it or leave, there's nothing we can do but wait and see, but just remember where you heard it first ladies and gents. Well honestly I am not going to believe this until it would actually happen. However if he did retire, I dont think he would stay retired for long. I could see him sitting out a year, and then coming back to coach somewhere else in college or trying his hand in the NBA...

February 14, 200719 yr THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN PEOPLE!!! COME ON, WAKE UP AND REALIZE THIS. IT DOESN'T NEED TO HAPPEN EITHER.
February 15, 200719 yr Author THIS IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN PEOPLE!!! COME ON, WAKE UP AND REALIZE THIS. IT DOESN'T NEED TO HAPPEN EITHER. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had spoken to Tubby about this matter.
February 15, 200719 yr I dont see Tubby leaving but my list would be: 1. John Calapari 2. Billy Gillespie 3. Tom Izzo 4. Jay Wright 5. Rick Stansbury and the Dark Horse EDDIE SUTTON (LOL)

February 15, 200719 yr Author Still be here. Hell be here till HE decides to go elsewhere. Wouldn't retiring be HIS choice?
