February 14, 200719 yr There's no doubt that Tubby Smith is a stand up guy. He brings a lot to the table off the court, but he's not what many Kentucky fans want on the court. He's a great person & a very likeable guy; unfortunately for Kentucky fans, character & integrity do not fight through screens, make good passes or shoot well from beyond the arc. Tubby doesn't teach this stuff anymore? Guess he quit after they went 16-0 in the conference a few years back. Ahh heck, I have 5 SEC championships and 5 SEC tourny rings...Think I'll stop Coaching:rolleyes:
February 14, 200719 yr I would like Creen or Wright. I like Rick Barnes as well although he may be the opposite of Tubby. It's obvious he can recruit but the jury is still out on his coaching.

February 14, 200719 yr Billy Gillispe at Texas A&M would be on my list for sure. Like another said, I don't really like Donovan but he would be a good fit also.

I think alot of the Tubby bashers would actually rather have Tubby than any of those two guys. It would make no sense at all for UK to go after either one of those two guys IMO...

Travis Ford Few would never leave Gonzaga for UK, Ford needs more experience, and Donovan will go to the NBA if anywhere IMO. Creen and Wright would be great, but neither is an improvement over OTS IMO.
