Week 3 brings us a rivalry game out in Union as Ryle travels across town to face Cooper. Both squads are 1-1, both having experienced a blow out in their 1 loss.

Last year this was a 20-13 thriller in favor of the Jaguars on the road. Can Cooper get a repeat performance, this time with a new coach and a roster still trying to find an identity? Can Ryle build off of last week's solid win over Conner and take down another rival?

I'll go cooper simply because they pulled out a win last season where both teams were much better, and Ryle was the favorite.

The last 3 years have been decided by the winning team taking advantage of errors/penalties or 4Q turnovers, which is typical in rivalry games. Coin flip type of game with both teams down over past seasons.

Looks like the cooper has begun playing their home games at 7pm instead of 730pm. This is a change with new AD Tyler Morgan. I think it is for the best.

I always enjoyed the 7:30pm Kickoffs at Cooper. Cooper is in a location that isn't easy to get to so it was nice having some extra time to get out there. Obviously, distance/location is not an issue in this game. Just a personal preference.

With the heat this week, the old 730 start time probably would have been better.

Kickoff moved to 730 due to heat.

In a battle of teams that lost more this offseason than they gained someone has to go home proud. Who? Ryle. Why? I don't know. Ryle pulled it out last year as as dogs so why not. Recognizing as 6A and 5A but "theoretically acting" as more of 4A/3A programs at this point in time, this one is close.

Max Parsons is a gem. Let's ride it inside behind him.
