Should these coaching shorts make a return to the sideline in 2026? ?

Looks like they were shopping in the same department store as the 1987 Cov Cath coaching staff.

That was my senior year, and my coaches had the exact same gear. It was all BIKE and Champion...from coaches gear to uni's where I was from.

I was trying to dig around and find something in color to verify but I couldn't. I'm about 99% positive the socks were blue red blue, though. ?

They were Spot-Bilt turf shoes during my football career...even though the one and only game I ever played on turf over the course of a decade was the '97 state championship, just about every coach I had wore Spot-Bilts with turf-cleat soles.

There were one or two coaches who I remember wearing the ripple-sole variant, though. They were the white ones though....


 

...not the black ones.

 

What was that called... snug tie? That white band around the top. 

Wish I had a pair of these!
