Spain takes 1-0 lead with a goal at the 106th minute. They are now down to just 5 extra minutes.

    Spain wins the 2026 World Cup 1-0 over Argentina. This is Spain's 2nd World Cup. Congratulations it was a heck of a match.

    Overall the World Cup was enjoyable.

    Argentina finally gets what they deserve.  After a World Cup where they were the beneficiary of a lot of luck going their way and a lot of calls that sure didn't go against them, they finally get bitten just before the end of regular time with a deserved second yellow sending them down a man, and Spain capitalizes in the 106th minute.  And when the game is over, Argentina also shows just what they're made of, picking fights in the aftermath.  Good riddance.
