Anyone know when the game is and who is playing in it this year?

Thursday June 4th at Dixie 7:30 pm.  I'm not sure if the rosters are complete.

From the way it's gone in years past, the full rosters are frequently not completed until the day or two before the game, if not the actual gameday. But if anyone knows which seniors from the particular programs they follow are going to be the ones representing those schools, please pipe up.

For Newport it will be Kay Sharp, Kaden Davis, Carvonta Roper, and it would have been Kendell Buck Barber but he is rehabbing an injury from the off-season.

I would imagine Dayton will only have one considering they only had one senior and that would be Conner Hurtt

As I mentioned last year in the the thread, it's kinda entertaining to me that literally HALF of the schools on the West team are geographically located to the further east than Dixie Heights, whose players are assigned to the East team. There have been a handful of football teams added in the area since the introduction of the NKY East/West All-Star Game in 1983 (Bishop Brossart, Cooper, Holy Cross, and Ryle), but it still give's me a little laugh each year, for whatever reason.

I heard a few rumors last year that the east/west lines will be re-drawn for this year, but I have no idea whether or not there was any truth to them.

EAST:
Bellevue, Bishop Brossart, Campbell County, Covington Catholic, Dayton, Dixie Heights, Highlands, Newport, Newport Central Catholic, Simon Kenton

WEST:
Beechwood, Boone County, Conner, Cooper, Holmes, Holy Cross, Lloyd Memorial, Ludlow, Ryle, Scott

I remember the 2004 game was played at Conner High School and it was a monsoon. The game was delayed and finished late. It was almost cancelled. I believe the West won something like 6-0 or 8-0.

With the addition of both St. Henry and Walton Verona to the NKFCA a year ago. St. Henry and Walton Verona are on the West Team and Scott joins the other Kenton County Schools on the East team.

Walton Verona will have these players in the game:

Michael Oldfield

Shawn Sinkhorn

Bryce Swanson

Eli McFadden

Levi Tilley

Brayden Donato would have been in it, but is still recovering from a shoulder surgery.

I played in this game. The field was a swamp, incredibly difficult to move the ball. Super fun experience (that isn't sarcasm lol)!  99% sure it was 6-0 final.

The game is now called the The Tom Potter Football Senior Bowl sponsored by Snappy Tomato Pizza. Lloyd is sending 5 football players and Ryle is sending 5 also.
