February 13, 200719 yr Not a surprise, just a surprise how long it took. Marty is a great regular season coach, he just can't get it done in the playoffs. Although another coach had that rap til this year. If I remember correctly, I think the GM and Marty don't speak or get along, so that also didn't help things. Since the Chargers are talented enough to win with virtually any coach, San Diego should just go hire a local high school coach and see what happens. lol
