Never a bad year when your season ends at Rupp! Glad to see the team bounce back from last seasons region tournament upset.

I'd love to see Ryan Davidson take over again and make a run like he did last year. Heck of a player.

Another great opening round game in the shadow of X/CovCath. Both of these programs have taken up residence at Rupp Arena. I like the contrast of WC's balance versus Reece Davidson. I look for th

North Laurel has too much size for Warren Central. Two 6’7 guys is a load to defend and keep off the boards. And in Davidson’s case he can handle the ball like a guard.

I didn’t want North Laurel for those reasons. When I did the game preview I knew Central would have trouble. I did hope for a better offensive showing.

I’m disappointed but life can be disappointing! Congrats to North Laurel and good luck!

WC was 7/27 on two point FGs. Woof.

I didn't catch the game, but that stat stood out to me. NL interior defense that good?

The Dragons have lacked a guy who could just go get a bucket off the dribble in many games, especially against size. So the interior size of North Laurel really hurt that. Central was all too willing to settle for the three, which just exacerbated the issue. And it hurt them on the boards too. Just too much of that when you’re not hitting outside.
