The Cats have a short turnaround after their tough loss at Auburn tonight. The Cats now (17-10) (8-6) travel to South Carolina (12-15) (3-11) for a Tuesday night game. It is at least at 7:00pm on the SEC Network. Go Cats!!

    It was originally planned that Walker would redshirt, then the plug was pulled.

    Kentucky 76-71.

    I can't believe I am saying this, but a loss tonight and Kentucky becomes a legit bubble team. They HAVE to get this win tonight and still get another couple wins after before they can comfortably say they are in. I like Mark Pope, but this can't be the norm here. Not at UK. You have to get into the tournament and stack some wins to stay employed here. 

    I will always root for Kentucky, and I think they should win tonight. However, I really need Kentucky to find a head coach that can bring this program back to where it should be. All that being said, and me ending my soap box rant....I do see Kentucky finding a way to win this one.

    Cats start the game with the Gamecocks hitting a long 3 and then they turn it over on their first possession of the game.

    At the first media timeout the Gamecocks led the Cats 12-7. South Carolina is 4-8 from 3 as 8 of the 9 shot so far have been 3's. The Cats so far are shooting 25% from the floor and 17% from 3.

    It is now 14-9 South Carolina at the under 12 timeout. Is it just me or does Jasper Johnson look like a middle schooler out there on the floor?

    I was wondering the same thing last weekend, at some point we are a bubble team and we better not lose tonight.
