Looks like they did call one but lost about :25 seconds before they called it.

Horrible clock management.

Frederick Douglass alum Dane Key's brother Devon Key on the tackle for the Broncos forcing the Patriots to punt again after only 1 first down.

To me it feels like the game totally turned after the Broncos not taking the FG to go up 10-0 and turning it over on downs.

Well that should do it! But who knows in these conditions.

I'd have every receiver running double moves and hope a defender falls down.

Threw a pick right as I hit enter.

My stream is also evidently about 30 secs behind.

Final an ugly game. Not sure if the Patriots can beat either the Seahawks and Rams but if they do that will be their first big challenge. 1) Played the easiest schedule in the NFL this year. 2) They played the Chargers who were the walking wounded. 3) They played the Texans without their two top receivers and Stroud gave the ball away 4 times. 4) They play the Broncos in the AFC title game against a backup QB who had not threw a ball since 2023. 5) The Broncos gifted the Patriots 3 points by not taking that short FG when conditions were perfect and they gifted the Patriots there only touchdown.

But hey they are in there I believe their 12th or 13th Super Bowl. Congratulations!

Ballgame Maye scrambles and makes it by a yard!

A much under utilized play. More teams should run QB bootlegs. Well done by McDaniel.

As to Romo calling that a risky or aggressive play - that is a conservative play. It's a running play. What is aggressive or risky about that?

The biggest cost to Denver was not kicking the shorter field goal instead of going for it when they did.

Our QB has the green light to keep the ball any time he wants to do so when he realizes they are ignoring him on the backside. I just tell him to be "certain"... don't guess. If he has to think about it, the answer is NO.

It is usually risky to run the ball in a way that you have no blocking. But, that makes it even a better call in this situation.

Newport was really good in 1999. We were about to upset them. Called a bootleg pass with the intention that our QB(Harry Lewis) would keep it on a 3rd & medium. Harry goes to throw the ball. I yell, "No, Harry NO!" Seth Faulkner catches the ball, TD. "Yes, Harry, YES!"

Good players always trump coaching.

We ended up winning by a couple TDs. By far was the best team we had beat at Mason up to that point (1996 through 1999).
