Coaches did a great job keeping it from becoming much, besides one push from the Tennessee player.

Pope really shortened the bench in that second half. It was pretty much the same 5 on the floor the last 10 minutes or so of the game.

Great comeback and win! I know it’s beating a dead horse, but man DDP has to find away to get his teams ready to play from the beginning. As it has been an issue both years under him with getting down big early. I don’t know if it’s pour scouting going into the game, not having his team focused or what. However, he does a great job during halftimes with adjustments and getting his team playing well in the second half of games to come back. He has to find away to get this team to start the game to play with the same desperate energy they play with in second half’s when trying to come back.

Went back and watched it was Oweh who started mouthing but I agree with VOR not enough for punishment in my opinion.

Which maybe that is the issue for the bad first half’s we have seen both years under Pope. Is him trying to play way to many guys, and needs to shorten the bench right away to let these guys get in a rhythm. 

My wife joked in the first half when UK was down 12, "We have them right where we want them!" ? 

 I wonder in the Cats storied history have they ever won 3 straight games coming from behind from double digits? The last 3 down 12 at home to Miss. State, down 18 at LSU and today down 17 at Tennessee.

I am glad Coach Pope hustled out there and deescalated the situation but even if it is not enough for a suspension, something has to happen.  It can't just be, it wasn't that bad so we are not going to do anything.

Pope is very analytics driven. I wonder if it too much info, too much thinking and not enough just play. Maybe the guys are thinking too much trying to stick to a detailed game plan.

Over these last few games, I would describe Kentucky as tough. Like, really tough to watch in the first half of most games. Followed by tough and refusing to lose in the second half.

She was almost right. She should have waited till they were down by 17 to say that.

The Cats have now won 6 of their last 7 when playing at Tennessee.
