Correct. He has 2 FCS offers (Austin Peay and Southern) and now an FBS (Tulane).

I would love to see it!!

I have a feeling, as an outsider, that this is the year Highlands figures it out. I know they will face some challenges along the way, but I just feel like they have all of the pieces you need to win at the highest level. Their OL seems to be the question mark, but that group will only get better as the season goes along, and the rest of the team is STACKED!

That CovCath/Highlands game is about to be insane this year!

Oline is better than last year.

Armstrong played 2 qtrs each scrimmage and lead his team on 10 scoring drives out of 11.

I’m trending towards feeling better about the OL after the scrimmages. Ryle has a decent front but Highlands had Kremer & Lorenzen running for 7-8 yards most carries. Those two, by the way, are going to punish defenses. Then you add Armstrong dynamic play and boy, they’re gonna be fun to watch!

Brutal matchup for week one. I know Elders all world QB is returning but will they be better than last year? Their OLine was nasty last year. Win or lose it’s good preparation, won’t see anybody better in KY.

While I agree with you that this may finally be the year that they win it. To be fair though, similar stuff has been said for the last 3 seasons about Highlands, and they have fell short the last 3 years even with being loaded with talent those years too. So it will be interesting to see if they can finally do it, after coming short with teams the last 3 years that people thought could have too and were saying similar things about.

To me the big piece that may make this year different, is their QB. They have had really good high school QB's these last few years, but Armstrong is just simply different. Having a QB like him gives them the shot to change the momentum in game back in their favor with just one play, even when things may not be going well.
