Henry Clay holds on to beat Ashland 66-64. The refs did miss a horrible turnover with 3.4 seconds to play. Henry Clay had the ball out of bounds up 1 and the player was allowed to run the baseline and he did but he also dribble it as well with no call.

You are allowed to dribble the ball during a throw-in out of bounds.  NFHS Case Book 9.2.2 Situation D.

I had posted that I had talked with the assigning secretary and was told it was not a violation.

I just saw the play. The fact that the play by play guy was going so nuts without knowing the rule is hilarious. I don’t know the rules but I also don’t yell at the games I attend

Will the announcers do a public apology to the refs after accusing them of the worst non-call in the "history of high school basketball"?  For one thing, relax.  Everyone in the Commonwealth knows the worst call in the history of high school basketball was the non-goaltending call in 1978 between Holmes and Scott County.

In the 7th place game today Lawrence Co. defeated St. Mary 81-61.

In the 5th place game at the half Hopkinsville leads Cooper 23-15.

I will agree with you on that one. It determined who won a state title and 100% photographic proof that they missed it. Shelby County defeated Holmes for the championship.

After 3 quarters in the Championship game of the AIT Jeffersontown leads Henry Clay 52-42.
