To bring me/us up to speed, what are you holding out with and what changes may you make if the 11th doesn't go well?

I’m sticking with YouTubeTV until then. If a deal isn’t reached, I will have to pivot to an alternate platform. Not sure which one yet. I hate feeding into the Disney machine, but not sure what other option I have unless I hit up the local bars. ?

  • For me it’s the navigation and overall platform. Plus it has the multi view that is awesome.

Classic ploy that continually happens because it works.   ESPN and Discovery were and are the worst abusers of the process.   Pull the channels and hope enough people complain until company B pays the

  • Correct. Basically, for live ESPN, absent a package deal, you are looking at $30/month.  As I understand, Disney is losing $5M/day.

I have YouTube but I signed up for FUBU 5 day trial offer so I could watch the games yesterday (love SEC football). I take Sunday Ticket so should be good to go today. I'll hang in there and keep Fubu if I have to for a month. I like Youtube better than Fubu, it's smoother. You can also with Youtube tv share your cost with someone else, so if it's 80 bucks, it only cost you 40. I do this with my son. It's legal. I also have an OLED tv it's about as good as you get for a picture, if you're in the market for one you need to check them out.

Those crafty Disney executives knew what they were doing when they stopped their channels, it forced lots and lots of people to do something. Big SEC games on and next week the same thing.

Exactly - tells you all you really need to know about what the purpose of all of this is.

A friend of mine has the ESPN app, it's 30 bucks a month.

My point above about making changes, ESPN is expensive.

I got Hulu today and I would pay more if I have to for YouTube TV

Same man. I've absolutely loved YTTV, and Hulu just isn't going to work for me. It doesn't compare.

I’m holding out. The only that’ll force my hand is not being able to watch UK/UL on November 11th. Telling myself it’ll be resolved before then.

UK is going to win going away, so you don't need to worry about that one.

They conveniently omit that this doesn't include the Live TV option from Hulu.

Thanks for that because I knew something didn't add up about the price.
