Bell County 35 Lloyd 21

That was some of the worst clock management I've ever seen on the last drive for Bell in regulation. It's like they got the ball down to the 20, and then decided they'd rather play overtime than try and score.

And I can't believe a top 5 team in 3A doesn't have anyone that can kick an extra point.  Great effort by Pulaski to not give up, but Bell County largely beat themselves.

Special Teams!!!!

Bell blocks a punt very early and recovers it inside the 5 and then goes up early for the first score.

Bell proceeds to kick onsides almost every kickoff which Pulaski returned a couple for good yardage and had great field position every time.

If Bell would have kicked the ball deep everytime. No way Pulaski would have ever had enough time to complete the comeback.

Pulaski recovers their own onside kick and completes the comeback.

Bell had the ball 4th and 5 around the 20 and turned the ball over on downs with about 10 seconds left. Bell must not have any type of kicking game beyond an onside. The onsides actually weren't bad kicks but they did not produce anything positive for Bell, at allllll.

Bell scores in 2nd OT, goes for 2 fails...no PAT????

Pulaski scores in 2nd OT, kicks PAT. Wins ball game.

I've been preaching special teams all year.

Great game by both teams.

I wrote Pulaski off down 20-7 when they couldn't stop a nose bleed.

Sense of URGENCY!!!! That guy knew what he was talking about. He was loud in the first half and got real quiet there for a while.

Played not to lose rather than to win.

Pulaski did the same in the first half. But I'd say Bell's 2nd half was much more self imposed execution wise.

They kind of do - one, and he's a frosh. Not using him is a *choice.* Bell had scored 56 points on 2 point conversions heading into this game. ?‍♂️

I wish you could find a way to know how many onsides they have recovered this year. The way they kicked them tonight I would say they have had to recover a ton. But not one tonight. That cost them dearly in clock management and field position for Pulaski.

I don't see how they didn’t take ATLEAST 2 shots at the endzone. They didn't have an issue throwing the ball all night.

If they have anyone that can kick, that was a particularly poor *choice* not to kick it in interesting when it would have won the game.

*In overtime. Not interesting.

Woke up thinking I had a dream about Pulaski coming back and beating Bell but nope it was real. Almost was a nightmare when they cut the stream off at the end of regulation. Thanks @theguru for the Facebook link!
