I think with a little bit of work with the defense this year, they should win quite a few games. But when you look at there web page, they chose a pretty tough non district schedule. Looking forward to a successful Indian season.

Interesting upcoming season for the HC boys. They lose a very talented senior class with lots of experience. I'd guess we'll see them do less passing than they did this year. It will be interesting to see if any of the incoming SOPHS work their way into the lineup.

Good to see you back oldcoach haven't heard from you in awhile...:thumb:

I must admit I really have no clue how they will be this year since they lost a few good senior class. But I do wish them the best of luck in 2A...

How do you think HC will do this year with the loss of 22 seniors and the new alignment?

If the story of the qb from New Richmond coming to HC is true, that's huge for them.

They are replacing a very talented senior class. I don't know a lot about the incoming senior class as to the level of talent. I do know the incoming SOPHS will get some looks. I'd expect to see Andy Roenker getting lots of PT.

Transition year both in personnel and the new 2A division.

That seems to be the same with NewCath as well. I'm not familiar with what Newport or Lloyd have coming back. I'd say that 2008 will be a better year for AA in NKY as this year will be full of inexperienced teams.

Who is on their schedule for this year? I have heard that they had trouble filling out their open dates with Northern Ky teams.

Well I really haven't heard anything about this QB they might be getting, but it is no suprise to me that HC is getting a player from a different area. It is like routine for them now to get players from different places like Cincinnati, etc...

Another tough schedule it looks like for Holy Cross! I wish them luck in 2A! :thumb:

I do know the QB in question went to HC from K-8. His mother teaches at HC, his fater was the head fball coach at New Richmond before resigning and they've lived in NKY for as long as I can remember. So not really a Cincinnati product.

Before you condemn HC realize that , if I'm not mistaken, the kid lives in Taylor Mill. He played for his dad at New Richmond and I believe his dad is no longer coaching.

So, they're getting a player from WITHIN their own district.

I have heard the same rumor if it is true it will be a huge boost, it will allow them to keep West at wide out, he is their only experienced rec.. I have not seen the kid in question since his 8th grade year at HC, but I heard he has grown alot and will really improve the program. With that said they will have to count on some sophmores to produce big if they are to have any shot come playoff time.

Will he be ruled eligible? There is no bonafide change of address. Precedent could be the Wesley Collins kid was ruled ineligible to play at Holmes because he still lived in Covington when he went to CovCath.
