The Bengals (2-1) travel west once again next week to Denver this time to take on the Broncos (1-2). Both teams are coming off losses. The Broncos have lost two straight games in the balance until the end but losses none the less. The Bengals lost their first game in embarrassing fashion 48-10 in Minnesota. The Bengals turned the ball over 5 times and 3 in 4 plays. Hopefully this will be a good game as both teams will want to bounce back with a win. Go Bengals! WHO DEY!!

Law of averages says we have to get better.

Unless we really truly stink.

My pledge for tonight's game:

Tonight, as Cincinnati and Denver take the field,
I pledge to watch with joy, not judgment.
I will cheer with heart, not ego.
I will not let a loss steal my peace,
Nor let a win inflate my pride.

This game, thrilling as it may be,
Is but a moment in time.
Its outcome will not shape my future,
Nor define my worth.

In five years, I won’t remember the score—
But I will remember how I carried myself.
So tonight, I choose calm over chaos,
Gratitude over grievance,
Presence over passion.

Let the game be a celebration,
Not a test of my emotions.
I am here to enjoy, not to endure.
And when the final whistle blows,
I will walk away with peace in my heart.

Who-Dey!

So eloquent, I felt guilty reading it.  NKYPETE is admirably at peace with the Bengal’s building of a “Swiss cheese Team”.  Next man up seems to work for the other 31 teams.  I, too am searching for peace, but getting close to flipping on Hallmark.

Noticed that Bengals arrived late Sunday in Denver for tonight’s game.  Sure took my body more than 24 hours to adjust to that altitude.  Bengals going to be sucking on the oxygen bottles often.  It could be a real factor late, if we can stay close enough for it to matter.

Just a feeling the Bengals find a way and win in the area of 27-24.

You’re a much better person than me.

We went to Keystone, CO when I was 9 yrs old. It took myself and 3 brothers 2 days to adjust to the altitude, and we were very active kids. I hope it’s not a reason for any mistakes:

So far a very good opening drive for the Bengals need to get 7 out of it would be good.

3-0 Bengals.

Well no sooner than I type the above post the drive stalls and have to settle for 3. Let's see what the defense can do.
