Nice field!

Other than that, for Male it was ugly. I can't believe they are that bad. Always have a few really good athletes on the outside, but no one. The line isn't very good, the QB is not great, and the WRs don't get off the ball well. Burton would help, but he'd have teams tee off on him.

As far as the Rocks, not a great first half, but still up 20-0. Overall, some good things but still some things to clean up. And that might be the most exciting thing for me about this team. They can still get better!!!

This!

Happy to see a flat field at Male. No more crown! Johnson is getting better. Big test this coming week for the Rocks with the Tigers.

Male is collecting donations to complete the renovations. Good luck. I did suggest to a Male administrator they should reach out to Manual since Male helped raise funds for the original lights to Manual Stadium!

I expected Trinity to win this one and thought it might even be a "blowout" in the end. But in no way, shape, or form, did I expect the outcome we got. Especially with the history of this rivalry and the big night for a new Maxwell Field.

Trinity came out sloppy and it felt close at half. However, Trinity shifted gears in the third quarter and Male simply could not keep up.

“Felt close at half”. I must have been at a different game. Just because a team can only dominate at 90% of what they are trying to do does not make them “sloppy”.

Waking up this morning and feeling like there is balance back in the universe.

Per AI research, the worst defeat for Male football was a 62-0 loss to Manual in 1959. Manual was state champion that season. This loss is next on the list.

I loved seeing that the new field has permanent built in play clocks. Though not working yet. Play clocks should be a KHSAA requirement.

I think I would have waited one more week to open the field with PRP.

Thank you.

Until KHSAA approves their use, they will remain turned off . Trinity had them 20 years ago when they remodeled Trinity Stadium and they had to send them back to Shively Sporting Goods per KHSAA.  “Until every team has them, no one can have them”

You know several KHSAA schools have, and run those in varsity football games... Do you mean JCPS won't permit their use?

I have never seen them in use at a Trinity game home or away in Kentucky. All I know is what was told to Shively Sporting Goods as the reason for their return.

I have a correction from UK Stat guy reminding me Trinity beat Male 49-0 in the state/national champ season of 2011.

This was last year when St. X played at Meade County.

All 3 Bullitt County schools have & use them.  Ryle has them & they were used last week when playing CAL.

That's the sentiment felt by most everyone I was sitting around last night.

Similar tones were echoed from Trinity coaches and players last night and today. But a win is a win and the Rocks ended up dominating.
