What are the possibilities for Pikeville and Raceland playing each other in the playoffs?

I appreciate the love with keeping NCC in the top 10, but they haven't been competitive in their losses. Are the teams behind them that much worse?

If anyone were to replace them right now, I’d say maybe Newport and that’s a BIG maybe. I do look for the game between NCC and Newport to be more interesting this season, but I don’t think I’d have the Wildcats at #10 yet. And in more fairness, NCC has played a tougher schedule overall to this point.

Big matchup with 4 and 5 this week. I like Campbellsville in that one.

Huge 1A game for the midpoint of regular season. This is the game that tells if this season is different for Hazard in my opinion. If either is to win more convincingly, I’d likely have them in the conversation with Pikeville and Raceland.

Newport vs. Paris could be a very good game. Newport was ranked pre season. A win for either could go a long ways. Both are looking for that signature win.

^ Now that is a huge blow for Louisville Holy Cross. Hope this isn’t true and it’s kind of late to take a chance on moving mid season. I definitely wouldn’t want my fate in the hands of khsaa.

Usually Raceland and Pikeville meet in the semi’s and of course in the final game. I kinda want to think that this year they will meet in the semi’s,but of course the rpi will determine that.
