February 6, 200719 yr Palmer is in no way the best current QB to not have a SB ring. Anyone who says it is biased, simple as that. There is no justification to that statement. Palmer doesn't even have a playoff win to his name. McNabb has a SB appearence, and 3 NFC title appearences, 5 pro bowls, and was the 2004 offensive player of the year. He is the second least intercepted per pass attempt in NFL history. Until Carson can compete with some of those he doesn't even hold a candle to McNabb.
February 6, 200719 yr 1. McNair 2. Brees 3. Palmer 4. McNabb There is no way to justify that. McNabb has proven more than any of those, especially Palmer. Yes, Palmer is good but he hasn't even played lon enough to be considered!
February 6, 200719 yr There's no way that at this point I would consider Carson Palmer a better NFL QB than Donovan McNabb. McNabb has led his team to a superbowl, and to what, 3 NFL title games? 1.McNabb 2.McNair... :thumb: :thumb:
February 6, 200719 yr It depends on whether or not you think Palmer is the best. What he did this past season doesn't move him to the front of the line IMO. Thats the funny thing here, alot of people say Carson didn't have the greatest of years this year. Yet his numbers this year was just about the same as last year when everyone talked about how great he did, and also he still made the pro bowl just like last year. So Carson still actually number wise had a GREAT season. Which I guess is a very good thing, because alot of us know that he could have done alot better, so just imagine what his numbers will be like when he is actually playing at his best... As for this thread I would say its McNabb, and then Palmer. Because it says who are the BEST active QB's. McNabb when healthy is still one of the best, but also has playoff wins. McNair however had a decent year, but is not even close to Palmer or McNabb these days when it coms to better QB's...
February 6, 200719 yr ....who assumes the title of Best Active NFL Quarterback Not to Win a Super Bowl? McNair? McNabb? Hasselback? Brees? McNabb.
