Here are the Highlands Frosh Captains, like I said earlier in the thread, they look more like varsity players.

I think that ship has sailed.  The powers that be say it is a rule but they don't enforce that rule. Like I have said before, we have an integrity issue and it is on many levels.

Well they started school very early if so he’s definitely not a “reclass” he started school at 5 and turned 6 shortly after ? . Just like he will start his senior year at 17 and turn 18 the same month. Completely normal and the correct class.

After watching the game last night on TV, CCH has some serious studs out there. A ton of talent. Highlands just has more of it. Developing the kids as freshman and then seeing if it translates to success at the Varsity level is the end game. Highlands has had some pretty good frosh teams as of late. Hasn't yet gotten them to the success level they had been accustomed to in the past. Someone needs to pick up their game!

Your right and a couple actually start on varsity as 14 year olds. Obviously not at schools as big as Highlands. They will be 17 when they graduate. Long debates about whether they should be reclassed or not for years but they always excelled at sports in their grade still being the youngest and school never an issue. Me personally I would have made them reclass just for the maturity factor and I would rather send a 18 year old out into the real world then a 17 year old. College coaches do look at a  graduating 17 year old that excells above his age as a positive though also.

For sure. He was a baller when he was in his original grade too. I think it was around 2-3rd grade when he reclassed. Kids born in July, August, September I would always start later. Forget about sports but just from a maturity stand point.

I thought the same thing about CovCath, they have a lot good players on their Frosh team.  But Highlands has some Dudes/Men.

A couple of those Cov Cath studs were on the verge of going to Highlands too. Kirkley's dad lives in Ft. Thomas. There is only so much the football can get spread around tho.

Our Freshman Bluebirds have won the past 4 contests against the Colonels and the past two in dramatic fashion.

From what I heard about yesterday, the boys did not have to break a sweat and minus a few self induced miscues, the door would have been shut much earlier.

Based upon analytics, I would hypothesize that you best enjoy this varsity year while it lasts and hope for the best (this year).

This CCH Frosh team will play better. I wish Smith played because he is a game-changer on both sides. One HHS touchdown comes on a tipped pass on 3rd and long, and then 2 very bad INT’s by Hull gave them short fields for easy scores. CCH also hiked the ball over the punter’s head for a safety. I hope these two meet up again in the finals.

I started school at 5 and graduated at 17. Turned 18 in November.
