Halftime

BG 14

OC 9

OC kicker almost kicked an extra point out in the road last week in the PT scrimmage. It's a long way over there!

Very impressed with OCath  and love #22 - excellent low to the ground runner.  BG is king of adjustments and I expect some, but really I think BG’s strategy is Cover 2 and keep everything in front of them - per my comment before the game, they think they can lock up Catholic in the red zone.  Catholic doing a good job taking what is given.  BG great special teams always - OCath always a phenomenal kicker (although he botched the XP and hit a 46 yarder).  I thought Catholic will get yards and struggle to score.  We will see how the 2nd half plays out, but I expected BG to be up 14-21 by now.  Barber out hurts but BG is too athletic across the field to not make some noise in the 2nd half.

Catholic is a super disciplined team and will tick you off…they will hit every play until the whistle, they will never give up and you’ll have to put up with them doing this all game, even if you are up 21+.  Glad we have a good game, still expect the Purples to put some distance in between.

OC making this a game. RB # 22 for OC runs hard. QB gets rid of the ball quick, and is accurate and good overall athlete. Sitting here you get the feeling that OC outplayed BG in the first half and probably has more offensive yards.
Hope this one comes down to the wire in the second half.

I was very impressed with them in the scrimmage last week. Wasn't sure if they could win this as I know they have some players out also, but not surprising at all seeing them at least compete.

BG didn’t execute well at all. Hats off to OCath for some of that but not all.
Travey Barber out doesn’t help.
Regroup and come out better in 2nd half.

Who’s BG’s #2 playmaker??  Graham?
