8th graders,Grause needs some more muscle, be a little more aggresive underneath. Mitchell can play well at times but he hasn't played like he did for Coach Massey.

Massey will be sorely missed,like a Jesse Hall for Bracken. King's are good,but young. Nobody ever mentions his name,but the key for the future of this team is the Caldwell kid.

Caldwell is gutty little player he'll be valuable member to the team next year, he can handle the ball well and isn't afraid to go against bigger players.

I look for some big things from him in the future.

Gallatin will be heavy favorites in the 8th.

June Buchanan will probably be the favorite in the 14th. They have all their key players back. Hazard will be good again too, but Hicks will be gone.

June Buchanon will be loaded next year. If they can cut out the soap opera they will be one of the favorites. Rose Hill with their two stars will also be someone to deal with. UHA if they can correct their team chemistry could win another one.

Gallatin loses 5 seniors but returns 3 starters and a very good next 5 or 6 with a great coaching staff. Going to be hard to stop them from threepeating in the 8th.

They have a senior that does not get much playing time. Brown, Henson, Carlton, and Maddox have all started at least 20 games in their careers and Jones has started about 6-8 games this season. So even though the Cats are losing 3 "starters", they basically have a starting 5 coming back.

University Heights will be the best All A Classic team in the 2nd Region next year if Edmondson stays, regardless of whether or not Hopson is back with them. If he is there, they are definitely a contender.

 

The Blazers lose only one key player, Ryan Langhi. Hopson needs a serious change in his attitude and approach, though.

 

I would list Bardstown, Paintsville, Elliott County and Rose Hill (not necesarily in that order) as teams to watch next year. I'm not sure about what certain other teams have back.
