If Sully was going about this they way I'd expect, I'm sure he's been working on all these factors for a while now.

Just as an aside on the public school benefits.  Numerous coaches have taught in public schools and coached at a private school.  Not saying this would even remotely be considered, but just pointing o

Exactly.  His removal from Cooper did not happen overnight.  Allowed him time to get things in order prior to meeting with Boone super.  Folks, this is going to happen unless there is some last minute change of heart by either side.

Better question might be how many kids/families follow him.  This could also greatly help the fledgling football program.  Everyone knows that Sully likes the multi sport athletes.

I think a few of those would be no problem at all, but the biggest non-problem would probably be the principal being on board with him coaching elsewhere. Business teachers aren't exactly beating down the doors these days, so when you find one with experience, you hire them.

I do agree, a lot has to fall in place for it to happen, though.

On most days, an early afternoon commute from Scott to St. Henry should be very easy.  Could be a great asset for the Scott student body as his teams make me conclude Sully is thorough in preparation, works hard and expects excellence in everything.

A plethora (3 Amigos 1986) of dominos have to fall in order for this to happen. I guess number one being, he has to get the St. Henry Job (I've not seen an official announcement), then there has to be an opening at Scott, he has to apply (meaning he wants to actually do this), then he has to be selected for an interview, then the hiring committee has to like him, then the principal has to be on board with one of his teachers coaching a varsity sport at a different school, then the job has to be offered, and then he has to accept it.

Not that big of a deal. My son teaches at a school in Boone County and is a head coach at a school in Kenton County.

Still not posted on Boone's website and I have not heard an official announcement from St Henry.

If he’s appealing, then it makes sense why it’s not posted.
