Final a heck of defensive game by Cooper they will take on Great Crossing in tomorrow night's last quarterfinal game.

I really think the Cooper and Great Crossing game tomorrow night could be an excellent game. I for one am looking forward to it between the 9th and 11th regions.

Wasn’t pretty, just effective. Big one tomorrow with the presumptive favorite GC in front of them. 

Think GC tries to up the tempo? Will Cooper be able to cover Moreno? I guarantee they will play hard and give it their best shot against GC. NKY basketball is much better than many people around the state realize.

No one's asking this one out for a second date, but like @Mr. Sixer said, Cooper's gameplan was effective. They did what they set out to do and won because of it.

Jaidan Combs (14), Andy Johnson (13), and Isaac Brown (12) led the Jags, offensively. Johnson added four steals.

Lacon McKinney (11) was the only Colonel in double digits. 

The two teams combined for 2/19 from three.

Moreno will get his points and blocks, part of the game with a 7 footer, I am more concerned with Dawson and containing him. All 5 Cooper starters will have to be close to double figures along with stellar defense again and if that happens this game will be close. Sully even said in the post-game presser that a couple guys played hesitant on offense tonite, that can’t happen tomorrow. 

Sully is telling his team to play defense, play loose and more importantly “have fun”.

The 9th is a grind every night, and not to mention the NKY schools in the 8th and 10th regions that schedule each other thru the NKAC.

Shooting/offense can’t always travel. Defense can.
