Huge congrats to Cooper, and it would be so poetic for Sully, this year, to win the region with this terrific team.

Congrats to the Jags! Beating Covcath three years in a row is always nice, but more importantly another chance to try to win the regional title after falling just short the last two years. Would be one heck of a year with the football team making the state finals, and then if both girls and boys bball teams make the state tournament.

Huge congrats to Cooper, and it would be so poetic for Sully, this year, to win the region with this terrific team.

Cooper wins, and loses to Lloyd in finals.

One more left.

Towards the end of the game with about 10 seconds left it was cool to see Sully point across the floor to all the Cooper fans and show some emotion because he could accept at that point they won and he lived to fight another day with the people he loves.

What's the grade on coaching change for Cov. Cath?  I know when you run out a 2 time state champion and longtime assistant there is always pressure on new coach.

I know there is some people probably not happy he got T'd up and glued to the bench in the 2nd half of that game. In his defense the ref gave him a very quick technical. Not sure what he said but the ref was definiitly not trying to hear it. He must have said something pretty harsh but to me it looked like he didn't even get a chance to finish his sentence. 1 technical on the season got the freshman coach at Cooper fired lol ??. For all the abuse that the ref's took and have taken consistently from Snapp I don't think it is very fair how fast they T'd Thelen up especially in a big time close game like that.

The bigger question is, how far out onto the floor was he allowed to be?

When he got T'd up he was no where near as far out as I seen a couple other coaches inside Truist.

While certainly disappointed in not winning the region, which is always the expectation, I think the Colonel faithful are happy with the team and the coach's performance this season. The reality is that Cooper is a very good team, no shame in losing to a team of that quality.

I was just curious being on the outside, and not knowing much about the team's performance this season.  I think it speaks to the grace that the "new guy" gets, and that a fresh of breath air is sometimes good.  I don't think you'll see many more long tenures at same school it today's society.  Sim. to Coach Pope this year at UK.
