The LSU Tigers (14-15) (3-13) travel north to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats (19-10) (8-8) in the next to last SEC conference game for each team. Both teams are coming off a double-digit loss the Tigers lost by 12 at #24 ranked Miss. State while the Cats lost at home by 16 to #1 ranked Auburn. The game is on ESPN2 at 7:00pm on Tuesday night. Go Cats!!

Absolutely must win. UK needs to get in the top 8 for SEC tournament seeding to get a first round bye. Plus need to win this to guarantee a .500 or better conference record.

I agree. Also, UK has slipped in some bracketology to the lowest 4 seed. They have to win this, and find a way to get one final quad 1 win Saturday so that way the SEC tournament won't really matter if they lose early. If they split again this week, they have to win one or two in the tourney or else they fall to a 5 seed, in my opinion. The dreaded 5 seed is just asking for an upset in the tourney.

Cats off to a great start as they led 15-2 5 minutes into the game.

Nice tweak to the offense tonight by Pope. Dropped Williams down to the elbow instead of top of the key. The offense is flowing really well with that change.

Cats led at the 8 minute mark led the Tigers 27-10.

Cats now lead 39-17 with 3:42 left in the first half.

Cats lead 50-23 over LSU at the half.

A few silly errors on both ends of the court but overall a good first half for Kentucky. They needed that after Saturday's loss to Auburn and loss of Robinson.
