Not really happy about game 1, but nobody asked my opinion in the matter.  

My nephew will be the freshmen qb this year. He's had an absolute stellar little league and middle school career thus far. He was the first pick in the middle school all star game in Richmond last month, and has received many accolades since. He has a bright future at BE, as he is a hard worker and well liked by the entire coaching staff. He might see some varsity action this year.

I went to the BE vs BG 8th grade playoff game at BE last fall and BE looked great!  They had great schemes and Tank's QB looked really good.  BG had good athletes but BE prevailed.  Fun game!

@Purple88Any more news on the Rafferty's bowl.  Going to be able to play at WKU or is for sure moved to BG high?

Just hearsay mind you BE, but I understand it that WKU still needs to meet with ESPN to determine the start time for their August 23rd game.  IF, ESPN selects any other time but 11 am for the WKU start time, then the games will be at BGHS.  If the WKU game starts at 11 am, then the games will be at WKU.  But I don't know when that gets 100% settled.  I figure it is an ESPN thing where they call you and not the other way around.

Baron Hardesty will be a cornerstone of the Chargers' success this season. He's got the physical tools and a slew of DI offers, which have a distinct Ivy League flavor. Hardesty is one of the state's top defensive linemen and a disruptive force in the opposition's backfield.
