Would you folks think Pat Kelsey is a front runner for national and ACC coach of the year? Sure has had an impact so far.

Should be the ACC COY for sure.  But they people who vote on those are hard top predict.  Sometimes they do the right thing, other times they just vote for the coach of the best team because it's easy.

ACC for sure.

National is Rick Pitino, in my opinion.

Would think that ACC coach of the year would be attainable , probably a little stretch for national status right now, the remainder of the season will be the measuring stick.

I fully agree on both.

@TheDeuce didn't want to hijack UK thread asking Louisville questions.

I don't follow Louisville nearly as close as you do UK. Who has Louisville lost this season to injuries? Are any expected back or are they out the rest of the way?

Starting PF has been out for the year since November. Torn ACL.

Backup PG out for the year since November. Shoulder surgery.

Another in the top six rotation was out for 10+ games with a broken arm, back now.

Starting four man missed 5 games with a broken thumb, back last game.

Starting Center left last game after having two teeth knocked out, should be back soon.

Starting PG (and best player) currently out with a groin. Listed as day to day.

That's a load to get over.

It's been a mess, but they've played through it about as well as you could ever expect and then some.
