He is getting old and isn't always healthy, I am not sure it is in the best interest of the team.

Pittsburgh Steelers four-time All-Pro defensive tackle Cameron Heyward, who's seeking a raise in a defensive market that has experienced a reset this offseason, hasn't fully participated in practice yet this summer as he awaits a restructured contract that has not gotten done, sources told ESPN on Thursday.

Heyward didn't dress for Thursday's practice and declined interview requests through a team representative.

The standard isn’t the standard anymore in Steel town. They are content with being a tick over .500 every year.  All in this year and realistically not in the top 5 in the AFC.  Reality  Haven’t won a playoff game in years.

All correct.  Sadly, mediocrity is the new normal in the Steel City.  When I was a young adult, the Steelers were the gold standard.  Besides me, how many of us can say that they were in Baltimore’s old Memorial Stadium when a goofball flew a prop plane into the upper deck during a Pittsburgh playoff dismantling of the Colts?  
 

Pro football is better when the Steelers are excellent. 

Not a Steeler fan at all but I do respect the heck out of Mike Tomlin as a coach.  But...do the Steelers need a new direction at head coach or a better job being done by the GM/front office in order to get back to being legit contenders for an AFC Championship?
