Going to have to move someone to safety to replace Fitzpatrick. They already have Porter Jr. at one corner and signed free agent Darius Slay in the offseason at the other corner. The Steelers also have the Dolphins their 5th round pick and got a 7th round pick from the Dolphins. 

I guess this is an "all in/win now" year for the Steelers.

Steelers have Elliot and signed Thornhill from Cleveland who was a starter.

They could move Ramsey to free safety like they did with Rod Woodson.

Still not sure how much better this trade helps the Steelers Ramsey has caused issues at a couple of stops. Plus, the Steelers are having to pay about 7.5 million more than they were to owe Fitzpatrick and they still have the Watt contract to deal with. Then when you look at the stats not really any difference and probably if you look at their career numbers Fitzpatrick has put up better numbers. Check below:

Ramsey- 9 years, 135 games, 534 tackles with 432 solo, 3 sacks, 24 interceptions 1 for a touchdown, 6 forced fumbles and 2 recovered.

Fitzpatrick- 7 years, 106 games, 608 tackles, 400 solo, 0 sacks, 20 interceptions 4 for touchdowns, 5 forced fumbles with 5 recovered and 1 for a touchdown.

Add in we got another starting TE that already knows the system it is a win! Fitzpatrick gets hurt to much also.

That is totally not what I read. I just read Steelers made a huge improvement on offense  and defense. 

CBS Sports gave the Steelers an A- and the Dolphins a C.

The Steelers traded a 28 year old safety who has played in 42 games the past 3 years for a 30 year old cornerback who has played 44 games the past 3 years.  I suppose Pittsburgh felt like another corner might help cover the Bengals receivers.  If nothing else, I can only hope that Tee Higgins gives him the AJ Green chokehold.

Just read the Steelers saved 18 million by doing this trade.

This deal is going to make signing Hendrickson that much harder I feel.
