February 1, 200719 yr Fortunately, ol' coach Sean has enlightened me. He said if it weren't for an 8-minute stretch, X could have won. WOw! That's why's the coach and I'm just typing on a dang computer.
February 1, 200719 yr While I'm sure even Father Graham thought there was a hack on the last play, he nor the athletic department can be very happy with Sean's antics and expletives at midcourt.

Graham should act the same way towards Sean for his team running a play in the last 10 seconds that: 1. Didn't run the ball through Doellman. 2. Had Burrell driving and kicking to Drew? 3. Didn't play for a solid 2 point play when overtime would favor the far more talented team.
February 1, 200719 yr Come A-10 Tourney time, I think Xavier will be the team to beat. Its like last year, they struggled throughout the season, and were a 6 seed in the A-10 tourney, and won 4 games, which punched their ticket to the Big Dance. And this years team, is much more talented, and the A-10 is down from a year ago, IMO. I agree hssb, Doellman is playing with a little bit of $$$ on his mind I think. Last 5 games he has scored over 20 pts. Hopefully he can keep it up!
February 1, 200719 yr It seems likes X always hangs their hat on the A-10 Tourney. I think it comes back to bite them this year.

February 1, 200719 yr Too bad they don't get the luxury of staying home this year. The trip to the Jersey shore ends the Muskies hopes for the dance... I'd agree if I didn't think that almost any team in the conference has a shot to win the thing. This is the most wide-open the Atlantic 10 has been in a long time, and when Xavier won it last year, they were the #7 seed (if I'm not mistaken). Road wins aren't easy to come by in the conference... it's strange when you go from a 10,000-seat, loud and rowdy arena to a little spot like Duquesne where the stands are half-full with only about 4,000 spectators. Xavier's got the firepower to pull this off.
February 2, 200719 yr I agree with Sandman (wow), Sean continues to befuddle and leave you scratching your head. I'd say he has about 1 year and 1 month to completely figure it out or he won't need to. Is it that hard to agree with me? I didn't even know we agreed to disagree most of the time. BTW, I'm almost always right, just ask me.:thumb:
February 2, 200719 yr Texas A&M.....Aren't they like 18-3??? Hardley underachieving.. They haven't beaten anyone close to as talented as they are. They've lost every BIG game they've played to date. For a team some tabbed as final four material, I'd say they've underachieved against a poor schedule (to date).

February 3, 200719 yr Good win for the Dukes in a tough year. Welcome back to Western Pa. for coach Miller.
