This is now a huge game as the Bengals playoff hopes are still alive. A win in this one over the Broncos and it goes to week 18. The Broncos (9-6) travel to Cincy to take on the (7-8) Bengals. The Broncos come into this game with a couple of extra days rest on the Bengals as they played on Thursday where they lost to the Chargers 34-27. The Bengals are currently on their longest winning streak of the season having won their last 3 games that is the most they have won since a 4 game winning streak early last season. A Bengals win here and the season will come down to week 18 if they take care of business this Saturday in their final home game of the season. It will come down to week 18 and the Bengals play at Pittsburgh and the Broncos would have to defeat the Chiefs at home to get in the playoffs.

The Bengals offense while it looked good at times was too inconsistent today to beat quality teams like the Broncos and the Steelers. This game is on Saturday, Dec. 28th with a kickoff at 4:30pm and it is on the NFL Network as they are having a triple header this Saturday. Go Bengals! WHO DEY!!

I believe this being at home is the difference. I would not have liked our chances nearly as much playing in Denver. I think we win in a close one.

It would be nice to believe that the Bengals are decent at home but they've actually been much better on the road this season. Only 2 home wins all year.

They haven’t been that good at home but I’d rather have it here than Denver with the altitude.

Rooting for Steelers over the Chiefs also should be in that graphic. If the Chiefs beat the Steelers, the Chiefs will rest their starters against the Broncos the last week. So us Bengal fans need to be Steeler and Browns fans this week! Plus go Giants!

I hear you fc and I almost didn't post that one because it was so basic and another reason why I don't watch local news.

There is no way I would be resigning Tee Higgins next year.  He almost always has a health issue and I don't see that improving at all with age.

When he got hurt on Sunday he made his way back into the game, it just had the feel of him getting swelling and stiffness after the game concluded and likely not being 100% for the next game.

From Who Dey Nation on Facebook:

The Bengals to make the playoffs need to beat 2 teams the Broncos and the Steelers who have winning records. The Bengals haven’t beat a team all season long with a winning record. Then rely on the Colts and the Dolphins who play teams who are the worst in the league the next 2 weeks and both teams have to lose 1 of the 2 games. Then have to rely on the Chiefs maybe playing starters for some of the game in Denver before playing backups to win. The Bengals never should have lost week 1 to the Patriots at home. Many other  reasons but the playoffs are not going to happen. I would hope everyone focused on this weeks ago.

Their home record was atrocious this season. As was the defense for most of the year. They lost impact interior players and needed a lot more help in the secondary.  I honestly gave up on the Bengals relatively early this season but one thing that I did notice and maybe I'm wrong, but from what little I did watch, Logan Wilson didn't seem to be nearly as sharp as the past couple of years. Lots to fix on the defensive side of the ball next year and it can't/won't all be fixed in the draft so hopefully the front office allows for them to pick up some quality players in free agency or with trades in the off season/draft.
