The Bengals to make the playoffs need to beat 2 teams the Broncos and the Steelers who have winning records. The Bengals haven’t beat a team all season long with a winning record. Then rely on the Colts and the Dolphins who play teams who are the worst in the league the next 2 weeks and both teams have to lose 1 of the 2 games. Then have to rely on the Chiefs maybe playing starters for some of the game in Denver before playing backups to win. The Bengals never should have lost week 1 to the Patriots at home. Many other  reasons but the playoffs are not going to happen. I would hope everyone focused on this weeks ago.

I thought it was an immediate concern losing to New England in the first week. There were plenty mishaps after that too. Don’t get me wrong, I want Cincinnati to make it but I’ve not expected them to for a while. That’s why you shouldn’t be in this position to begin with, which they clearly are.

  • I would have kicked the first one for sure. This last one, ugh.  But exactly, we would probably be winning.

  • I believe this being at home is the difference. I would not have liked our chances nearly as much playing in Denver. I think we win in a close one.

It would be nice to believe that the Bengals are decent at home but they've actually been much better on the road this season. Only 2 home wins all year.

Their home record was atrocious this season. As was the defense for most of the year. They lost impact interior players and needed a lot more help in the secondary.  I honestly gave up on the Bengals relatively early this season but one thing that I did notice and maybe I'm wrong, but from what little I did watch, Logan Wilson didn't seem to be nearly as sharp as the past couple of years. Lots to fix on the defensive side of the ball next year and it can't/won't all be fixed in the draft so hopefully the front office allows for them to pick up some quality players in free agency or with trades in the off season/draft.

Just don’t see real quality signings happening…$$$$$$.  With Burrows mega deal, and Chase do one there just aren’t that many dollars left.  Kiss Higgins goodbye and I fear they will tag Chase further imploding the locker room.

Chase is not a free agent next year. Chase is still under contract for next year, so there is no tag to be used on him next year. Now with that said, I doubt he plays next year until he gets a new contract and no longer playing on his rookie contract.

As for the rest of the money it all depends how they go about things. There are some contracts they can move on from that will free up money like Hubbard, Cappa, Rankins, if they don’t tag or bring back Higgins that is 21 million just from him alone this year that they will have back. So they actually will have some money to play with potentially even when they do extend Chase.

The Broncos won the toss and took the ball and are moving it very easy so far averaging almost 9 yards per play so far. Hopefully we can tighten up and hold Denver to just a FG.

The defense gets a stop finally on a 3rd and 2 and get a 30-yard FG to led 3-0 with the Bengals getting ready to go on offense.

A big early 4th and 2 for the Bengals offense at the Denver 22-yard line.

Ugh, turnover on downs.

Would have gone for the field goal there, could cost. Hopefully not.

A fast first quarter comes to an end with the Broncos leading the Bengals 3-0.

We need six here, we are in the red zone.

Our run game is so bad again we have it first and goal at the 1 and have to throw it because we can't punch it in!

Bengals going again on 4th and fail again!!!!

Mike Brown needs to walk out on the field and fire Zac right now.
