No system was immune and calpreps being "off" makes solutions hard to come by. 

Looking back, Beechwood was "banged up" for their game against CovCath and I believe that 21 point defeat skewed the "perception" of Beechwood.  Add to that, after the CCH game, Beechwood's schedule was hot trash (no fault of Beechwood) so there was no way for any of the rankings/ratings to make a correction.  I am calling this year an anomaly for your 2024 Class 2A State Football Champion Beechwood Tigers. ?

Good thing the Tiger coaches and players knew what they had, and didn’t pay attention to CalPreps and the rest of the pundits!! ?

No doubt but one group you can't fault is the BGP Membership.  The majority got it right on the Tigers.

I recall quite a few wobbling after the CCH game….the Tigers flipped the switch and hit the gas when Fryman came back.

For sure, unfortunately RPI negative impact was disastrous.  Crazy, RPI is better not playing at all than beating a quality out of state.

Bull 44 you are exactly correct.  Once Beechwood got Fryman and Erdman back full strength they were a different team.  And lots of people forget that their leading tackler and one of their better defenders Aylor was out for almost the entire playoffs.  As you said that Oline and Chase Flaherty really took over in the 2nd half of the season and the playoffs and absolutely dominated both Lexington Christian and Owensboro Catholic.  The big Howard kid that transferred from Moeller was a difference maker.  He was as good as any o lineman in NKY this season.
