The now ranked #4 (7-0) Kentucky Wildcats travel to Clemson to take on the Tigers (7-1) in the SEC/ACC Challenge tonight at 9:30 on ESPN. The Tigers have played overall a pretty weak schedule up to this point with their only loss coming to Boise State 84-71 back on Nov. 17th. This will be the first true road test for Coach Pope's Cats. I'm interested to see how they respond tonight before their game on Saturday in Seattle with #7 ranked Gonzaga. Go Cats!

I think cats row in this one. The best team they’ve played is probably Penn state. It will be interesting to see how they do on the road.

Cats lead 11-8 at the first media timeout.

Cats lead Clemson 17-15 at the under 12 media timeout.

Clemson is leading the Cats 21-19 at the under 8 media timeout. The Cats have gone over 3 minutes without scoring.

This offense is extremely stagnant currently. Clemson getting the 50/50 hustle balls. Can’t let Williams try to back his man down from the free throw line and struggling from the free throw line

28-23 Cats

As I was saying……

Cats come out of the timeout and have gone on a 9-0 run and now lead the Tigers 28-23. Timeout Clemson with 5:41 left in the first half.

Clemson comes back after their timeout and in the last 2:41 have went on a 10-0 run of their own and led the Cats 33-28. Timeout Kentucky with 3:00 left in the first half.

Kentucky struggles on offense without Butler on the court for long periods. Kentucky moves the ball better with Carr on the floor. Carr and Butler both got 2 fouls early. Kentucky needs to work some plays off of cuts and not just pass around the point line. 

Clemson closes out the last 5:41 outscoring the Cats 14-2 and led Kentucky 37-30 at the half. The Cats will need to be a lot better offensively in the 2nd half and do a much better job on the boards as they allowed 13 offensive rebounds by Clemson.
