The young talent on CAL, as a whole, is insane.  Hope they all stay together and can't wait until these kids are all juniors and seniors.  Two other impressive young players to watch are Man Robinson

  • Might end up being the score as well.

  • It’s definitely a bigger step up, no doubt about that. Union County has captured some of my mind and heart though.

I am expecting Union County to come out and play like Bell County did last year.

I hope so. I actually think they match up a little better than did Bell. CAL just seems like a machine in Class 3A right now.

I hope so, too. Union either needs a fast start or at least keep CAL within reach early. Things can happen late in tight games that benefit the underdog. The belief grows stronger with each series.

If CAL gets a quick multi-score lead, they could leave the Braves in the dust. The Centurions of the last two weeks and the version that iced Manual.... forget about it.

Please no, that was the most frustrating and boring first quarter of football I’ve ever watched last year ?

Bell county had mastered the 3 yard run, bell county’s o line looks a bit bigger though than this years UC line.

Smaller, but quicker line for the Braves, at least to my eye. Union and Bell are run heavy teams powered by standout individuals, but Union will give CAL a different look compared to what they saw last year. The concept is virtually identical, though: Union and Bell thrive(d) on their star ball carriers. Slow Johnson and the sledding gets tough for the Braves.

I think in all likelihood that CAL wins but with the way this year’s playoffs have went, anything is possible. Anything is possible all the time though. Regardless, the playoffs have been great this year.

Bring this state championship back home to west kentucky and also bring Mr. KENTUCKY with you...Go UC...

54-20, Centurions.

I appreciate the support from the Union County fans who showed up to support PT last night as well. Got out and fought the cold when they certainly didn't have to. Go Braves!

PADUCAH has brought theirs back now itd your turn UC...

As much as I am hoping for a Union County upset, it’s just not going to happen. Like a few others have said, this will be the most lopsided game of the weekend. CAL wins big.

CAL is in all red with blue helmets.  Union County is in all white with Carolina blue helmets.
