Even during the Mayfield game, they switched personnel at times during the game.  It looked that they stayed with the same Oline for round 1. After seeing Murray play it is hard for me to compare Murray anything to LCA or OCath. 

Murray didn't really commit to the run until it was time to ice the game then Mayfield got them to punt.  Not saying their o-line is really good.  I just know with that size leaning and grinding on you all game, it would take a toll at some point.  I don't think Murray has a chance, outside of OC committing self inflicted errors.

Murray was down at one point in the game 14-0. Then came back and scored 17 unanswered points pts. Then they threw a pick 6 and gave up a TD. There was less then a minute To go in the game after the TD pass

TD pass came first with about 1:20ish left I think to put Mayfield up 20-17. Then pick 6 on second play of next drive trying to go down and tie or go ahead. Either way it was a good game and could’ve gone either way. Mayfield going into final minutes of the game with all 3 of their timeouts was the turning point of that game. I think if Murray can score with O Cath and get a turnover or 2 it may be closer than we think. I have just seen Murray go out and play flat too many times this year. Mayfield definitely got the best Murray team so far this year. If that team shows up, it will be a battle.

Murray was actually driving to run the clock out and actually ran it into Mayfield's territory on a run but a face mask was called I believed against the running back running the ball. That run may have actually sealed the game for Murray. Although it still gave Murray a first down it wasn't around the 30 or 40 yard line in Mayfield's territory...Then the holding call againt Murray on 3rd down that Mayfield took the penalty and saved a time out...Even though Murray had their chances against Mayfield, Atwell and OC is going to be a different animal but could be a interesting game if Murray decides to try and run the ball and is successful...can't wait...

Murray can't stop the pass... short, intermediate, deep - it won't matter.  Even if Atwell feels some heat, he should have no problem using his legs to step up and take off down the Steele stadium turf.  42-10 OC

Atwell is huge and mobile almost like a man playing against kids..he will have his way especially running against almost every 2A team in playoff and is on a sort of a revenge tour from last year...

He is very big and can run, but recently he has suffered an ankle injury. Is he 100%? I believe if he is and can run he will do damage, but if he's not able to run it 10-15 times in this game it limits what they can do and we all know what happened when they couldn't run him in the Scrimmage vs. PT.

It looked like he was 100% in the Crittenden game.  But they are running Crowe and Edge more and have established a pretty good running game to go along with the passing.  Its gonna be a good game I think.

Edge and Crowe were a force against the Devils this year. If the Atwell kid can run some and have them run they will be in good shape. Carrico not playing on Defense is a concern but if they can move Crowe inside, who I remember at OHS, that will shore up their LB situation.

Doesn't Atwell play LB or was he a safety? I just remember him coming in against us when the game was on the line the last few years.

I would think Crowe move inside, Atwell at spur and leave sims at safety. 

Carrico or no Carrico is this game really in question? Madisonville routed Murray 41-3. OC’s offense is even more explosive than Madisonville’s and the defense is stiffer. If the Aces lose here that would be a monumental upset. This game shouldn’t be close. Running clock Aces 3rd quarter.

I’m going to be at the Owensboro vs Bowling Green game. Hoping the Aces win this game. I think we will get running clocked in the 3rd but hoping to drive down Frederica by halftime to Steele Stadium and watch the end of this Murray v Catholic game.
