So from what I am hearing, the Lyons kid and Sims kid are both back at full strength.  They were both injured in the O'boro game.

That is great news. What about Carrico and those other kids? I feel he makes a huge difference in Catholic's defense. 

I wouldn’t expect Carrico back this week and Eaves is probably the next one I would worry about.

I know Carrico hurts them on defense if he doesn't play. Not sure who Eaves is, but if he is a starter that's got to hurt some. I just remember Vince as a kid in KFL. He was a stud then and is a stud now.

Idk about any other injuries. I know they can move players around to fill in for Carrico 

Owensboro Catholic with Atwell will be OK and IMO still the 2A favorite to win state...He should also get some considerations for Mr. FOOTBALL...I know you gotta play the game as someone has said so let's play it and see what happens..

UK and U of L are crazy for not offering Atwell in football...Atwell is much better than Boley was IMO.

 

As far as Atwell for Mr. Football... his numbers are huge.  Quisenberry's numbers are huge, but they are over a 5 year span as well.  I am sure it's Quisenberry's to lose, but Atwell has had a Mr. Football career.

You're absolutely correct...don't know why UL or KY didn't offer this young man. They seem to miss the mark alot on Kentuckykids..as a matter of fact I don't  know why many of the D1 programs didn’t come calling...Both have huge Mr. KENTUCKY numbers and has had a heck of a high school football career...best of luck to him now and in the future 

After watching the Mayfield/Murray game, I am baffled that Murray doesn't run the ball more and try to wear the opposing defense down with their big O-line.  Chew clock and play ball control.  They will need to do that to win this game.  I'm sure OC would love to have a track meet.

Is the Murray vs.  Mayfield game on Youtube? I'm curious to watch that game because if Carrico for Catholic is out and Murray can run the ball that would make this interesting.

Watching this game on YouTube it's hard to say, kinda both, but that Offensive Line is huge for Murray.

Not sure about N Hardin and Greenwood I haven't seen them play. But I go to almost all the Owensboro games and I have to say this year Owensboro was smaller then everyone this year on the line. Henderson was big but not as big as Murray is on this YouTube video.

Murray has shuffled their Oline through the season for various reasons, injuries. Even during the Mayfield game, they switched personnel at times during the game.  It looked that they stayed with the same Oline for round 1. They also ran for 250+ in the game.  They do have tremendous size. 6’ 2” 310, 6’8” 370, 5’11” 250, 6’7” 400, 6’0” 270. All of them move very well.  1 senior, 1 jr, 1 soph, 2 fr.
