I have given Stoops the benefit of the doubt for 12 years. I'm done.
He has reached his ceiling; and I'm ready to move on.

Stoops is losing loyal, forgiving, optimistic fans like me.

Now, with a $54 million buyout, that won't mean much to him. But I am refusing to waste my emotional energy anymore.

Anybody notice the mysterious runoff of valuable time after the QB sack late in 4th qtr?  Watched replay today just to see what happened.  I believe officials errored and we lost over 40 seconds of valuable game time.  Anybody understand what happened?

They showed it on the broadcast after commercial. Clock should have ran down to 3:05 after 40 second play clock. However, the clock had stopped when it shouldn't have, so the referees said set the clock at 3:00 (which is close to correct). They then said the 25 second play clock and game clock would start on the ready for play signal, which allowed Vandy to waste another 25 seconds before punting. It absolutely cost Kentucky a full 30 seconds and perhaps more. I don't understand why the UK sidelines wasn't going nuts but based on their usual clock management I'm not sure they even noticed.

Went back and watched my replay which had both game time and play clock visible.  Probably the most blatant  error in time decision by officials.  Sack happened at 3:47….clock paused for 1-2 seconds and began immediately at 3:45.  At 3:28 Vandy bench goes ballistic and refs stop clock and play clock.  Said the clock had inadvertently been stopped incorrectly and reset it at 3:00 minutes and then gave Vandy the remaining 25 seconds on play clock.  Abra-cadabra vital game time disappears.  Maybe those lost 25 seconds might have made us less desperate; but, we will never know.

That a AD problem that we got ourselves into with our basketball program as well. Hopefully that can be corrected in future contract negotiations

Multiple botched snaps on PAT and FG, 12 penalites for 105 yds, 2 TO's, while giving up 1 sack in a loss is not an offensive line problem.

Not much they can do differently. If a coach doesn't have at least 3 or 4 years left on their contract, other schools use it against him in recruiting. Any coach that is hired will have a guaranteed contract, just the way things are now.

Unless a coach retires or is fired for cause, they are getting the money from the years left on their contract.

Two years ago this was a huge problem. Last year it was punting. Now its punting and PATs/field goals. Dead serious, why is special teams such a problem for Kentucky?

UK pays Stoops as a Top 10 coach and 5th in the SEC. Hopefully you get the production to mirror that kind of paycheck but I don't think we have ever consistently got that kind of production. UK is getting out recruited by coaches that don't have the guaranteed money that Stoops does.

Kentucky is never going to recruit at the top of college football, regardless who the coach is. There just isn't enough local talent or stacks of NIL Cash for Kentucky to recruit against a lot of schools in the south.

You're right. So that makes it even worse that we find ourselves in this situation. A lack of coaching and behind the 8 ball on recruiting, paying out $9 million a year with no way to get out from under it
