South Oldham has worked hard for that #5 ranking and I think they're worthy, but I also think the expiration date runs out after just one week.

I think Scott County is the better team, but I think South Oldham can keep it closer than some think.

I was impressed with them last week.

Please move Owensboro out of the top 10 immediately.

In all seriousness, this tells me how watered down the 6 class system can get sometimes, if Owensboro is really 7th ranked.  I think Madisonville and Hendo have a good chance at beating them after seeing the Marshall County score,  That said, 6A is rock solid top 10 and 5A usually does.

The six class system is a pox, and the longer it lingers, the worse this gets. 

pox - any of several viral diseases producing a rash of pimples that become pus-filled and leave pockmarks on healing.

I agree with DF, the 6 class system is a joke.  Playoff appearances for everyone!!

I don't agree on 6A being rock solid past about six or so.  But I agree 6A looks better at the bottom of the top 10 than the rest of the classes do.

I’d really like if it was 1A-4A still. High school football in Kentucky was just better that way. I even think doing five classes is probably okay, but six has been overkill.

I told that to the Commissioner and BOC members when it was instituted. The coaches association was the driving force back then.
