The most secured job in the NFL is being the HC for the Bengals. I highly doubt you'll see a HC change. As we've seen the O can score quickly and put points on the board. The D is terrible. All 11 on that side of the ball are average to below average caliber NFL players.

Trey Hendrickson is definitely above average.

To me Joe Brady is the only young offensive minded coach I would go after. He obviously had success with Burrow and now has a few years experience calling plays in the NFL. So it would be better to have an offensive head coach still, this way you don’t have to worry about your play caller leaving when there is success. 
 

Now if you can’t get someone like him. Then I swing for the fences and even think about Belicheck right now or Vrabel. Both are defensive guys, and if you do well well with a defensive head coach, you usually lose your OC. However, that is a chance you may have to take to try to make sure your not wasting Burrow’s best years.

Since you brought that up I will be paying extra attention to the PFF rankings Sunday night.  I know PFF is not the only metric but I think it is a good one for this discussion.

I get why you would say that. Although, I view it this way, he is above average rushing the QB, below average against the run. Therefore, I say he's an average player. But, I understand your position on him.

I listen to Cowherd most days. He constantly points out that offensive head coaches are much better to have in the current rules than defensive head coaches.
