Dohn Community canceled its October 11th games vs Pikeville, so the Panthers have September 27th and October 11th available for a tenth game. Not sure if that helps any of the affected teams.

It makes no sense to me that Corbin has cancelled school and won't let them use facilities, so instead they're practicing in the shooters home town in Williamsburg at the Cumberlands? Seems counter productive.

Here’s a thought. I’m just throwing this out there. Mayfield and pikeville are both off 10/11. Campbellsville is at Lindsey Wilson that week. Why not meet in the middle and play at a really cool stadium.
This would be a great game btw two great schools.

I think I have the dates all aligned correct.

Leadership issue.

Which is also probably linked to a liability issue.

What I mean is leadership becomes hesitant in these crisis situations because of fear of lawsuits if the worst case scenario happens and this guy decides to re-emerge and target more folks.  That drive to avoid litigation is why we see things like these cancellations and such.  Some could argue it takes safety too far but no one wants to lose their job over this either.

On occasion buses wreck and children get hurt, maybe kids should not ride them either.

That is not directed at you DanvilleFan.

If that is the logic we are going to use we probably shouldn't allow any children to go to school because the schools are nearly all soft targets.

Wouldn't disagree!  However, I've sensed a trend of those making decisions becoming more and more risk averse over the last 5 or so years.

A lot has changed in the last five years and almost all of it for the worse.

Wonder if any advisement is coming from KSP or local law enforcement agencies regarding ballgames and public gatherings? Perhaps not entirely a school decision?

What else is closed?

I was expecting PC/Corbin game to be moved to Pulaski, not to be cancelled.  Especially with Corbin practicing this week.
