3A #7 Union County visits 2A #5 Murray to play in the rain Friday night.  This should be a good game and it is one of our Pick 5 games.

Who wins?  Why?

Also, there is paid video from the NFHS:

50/50 game is my best guess.

We are hoping so at BGP but in the contest thread that is not the way it is going:

Murray seems a little better than last year, Union County might be just a little less than last year. Both teams a very solid, though. Should be a really good game. I'll take Union County by 7.

One of the better games in West KY this week always a good game between these too I want to pick Union but Murray is also tough as well this game could go either way. I'll take the Braves in a close one.

All the games in WKY most likely have rain / weather come into play. Statistics show Union Co is run heavy and Murray is pass heavy. Probably a really close game in good conditions. The Braves run game gives them the advantage and I think they win by 2 scores if not pushed back to Saturday.

Bump.

Jarren Johnson brings the Braves hard nosed rushing attack into Murray to take on the Tigers.  A contrast in style as Murray is averaging around 275 in passing yards per game.

The amount of rain expected may be a factor throughout the game.

IMO, the Tigers just have more athletes on the field.

35-21 Murray

Game just started.

Murray 9-0. Early 2Q.

26-6 Murray. Halftime.

26-13 Murray. Under 9 to play.

Murray driving. 3&1 from what looks like to be the 10 yard line.

Timeout. 4:39 4Q.

This would be a very good win for Murray.
