Just read they are scaling back the search a d patrolling communities.

Would they ever "call off the search" in hopes that he shows himself, but really they are still very much in the area?

They've called off the ground search for now pending new information. KSP said resources would reallocate to a wider community search.

KSP stated that they had searched 28,000 acres (the area immediately behind where he shot from) of DBNF.

I'm seeing where KSP is reporting they've found a body in the vicinity?

I'm thinking so, found near the exit where this all went down.

There is a photo of the body and video on X.

Youtubers followed vultures and the smell to the body.

Something got him.

Whoa

Guy that found the body is retired Law Enforcement, was Chief of Houstonville.

KSP presser scheduled for 8 p.m.

I didn't think he'd been evading capture this entire time. The guy said he was going to kill himself after he'd tried to kill innocent people. He probably died thinking he'd been successful in doing so.
