This was a test both teams were looking for. If I'm Graves, I'm still hopeful for a great season, they showed flashes of that many times and will be a force going forward I still believe. 

PT scored 4 td's in the first quarter in back to back weeks and led 26-7 after the 1st and 40-7 at the half before the running clock less than 8 minutes into the 3rd. PT's defense has allowed 1 score this season with the starting unit in. 

PT played pretty sloppy regardless of score. Double digits in holding penalties alone. Dropped passes and many other mistakes. They have plenty of room to improve. 

PT showed their depth without Carter being a focal point with so many guys in so many different positions stepping up. They can spread you out just about anywhere and that's a tall order for a high school defense. 

Good luck Eagles the rest of the way, still plenty of season left and I expect you guys to make a run still. 

PT goes to Mayfield next week, Graves goes to Mcewen, Tennessee. 

The Blue Tornado has played like a tornado early on. They are going to be very tough to beat this season.

Yes. Evansville North 2004,63-10. 

The only other one I could think of was McCracken County in 2020, I believe it was 42-7, but I don't think that one was ever a running clock.

Well its probably going to be a running clock next week for Mayfield...this game will be men among boys...Too much size, speed and athleticism for PT but I will save my comments for that thread whenever it comes out....

Beechwood running clocked Mayfield in the 2021 semi finals, but it doesn’t happen very often.
