WEB DuBois at Atherton Predictions/Updates

In week 2 we have a pair of (1-0) teams going at it.

Web Dubois (1-0) travels to (1-0) Atherton.

Web Dubois started off the season with a 20 to 0 win over Thomas Nelson.

Atherton started off their season with a 20 to 7 win over Kentucky Country Day.

These two teams met in 2nd game of season with Atherton winning big 54 to 12.

As Web Dubois starts their second season ever I believe they will be much improved with returning all their players and a whole season under their belt. This will be a team in a couple of years that will be tough to deal with. With that being said Atherton gets the win here but closer than it was a year ago.

21-14 DuBois, I have NO reasoning, just a feeling DuBois shocks the Big A Factory. Atherton may very well win big again, but I like to think DuBois has improved greatly from last season.

Atherton has been on the uptick in recent years and beat KCD, perennially one of the top teams in Class A. WEB Dubois beat Thomas Nelson, one of the weakest football programs in the state. I will go with Atherton.

Just a head's up for the title: the school is WEB (or more specifically W.E.B.) DuBois. Stands for William Edward Burghardt DuBois, an early sociologist. I do notice a lot of people calling the school "Web" as in Charlotte's Web.

I'll endorse both your logic and your pick. Atherton hammered WEB last year without the services of star running back Mike Curry. He's a full go this time, afaik.

WEB DuBois bit off more than they can chew with this one. By the time the second half rolls around, this one could get kinda ugly. Atherton wins this one...big. Ravens all night long.

Atherton rolls in this one. I think Dubois has improved but Atherton big step up compared to Thomas Nelson.
